Hello friends of HOHM! Come Holy Spirit, we need your help, rather urgently. As you can see from the above image, our new house is officially open and up and running. We currently have four residents and the past two weeks saw us accompany three of our past residents into eternity. Our mission is in full swing and our goal of being able to turn away less people in need is coming to fruition. But today, we come to you with a great need. While our home and team grew, our donors did not. We do not have the capacity to maintain the team needed to provide compassionate, loving, and Christ-like care to the residents we currently house and those we will accept in our current financial state. We come to you humbly today to say that we are in desperate need of monthly donors. We ask that in your kindness you please forward this email to anyone that you think may be able to help. As you all know, we fulfill a crucial need in Middle Tennesse, and we hope that our community will rally around us. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like more information.

Our Biggest Need
|
We continue to maintain the same 1:2 ratio we had at our St. Edward's location. We will always prioritize this to ensure proper care to the residents entrusted to us. This has required that we increase our staff that we pay a just wage. Now, with four residents, our intent to maintain the 1:2 ratio of caregivers to residents for each daytime shift remains the same.

We have been fortunate to house and care for ten individuals in the last four months, but having to turn away multiple referrals each week due to budget restraints is disheartening and not what we believe is the will of the Father that has entrusted this mission to us all.
|
|
Monthly commitments offer us the reassurance of the needs of the mission being met, but one-time donations are also hugely appreciated.
