We are excited to share that this year's event will once again be an evening of inspiration, gratitude, and hope. It is a cherished opportunity for us to celebrate the extraordinary generosity and love our community has shown in supporting the mission of Heart of Mary House.
This year is especially meaningful as we honor Fr. Andrew Bulso. As many of you know, Fr. Bulso opened his doors to us in 2022. He believed in the mission of Heart of Mary House long before there was anything tangible to show for it. At the time, it was simply a hope, a prayer, and a calling to serve those at the end of life with dignity and love.
Our theme this year, A Place at the Table, reflects the heart of our mission. Every resident who comes to Heart of Mary House is welcomed to a place where they belong—where they are known, loved, and never alone.
Before we were able to offer that place to others, Fr. Bulso first offered one to us. He invited us to his table, welcomed us into his parish home, and made us feel that we belonged. That simple yet profound act of faith and generosity gave Heart of Mary House the foundation it needed to grow. Because he made room for us, we have been able to make room for countless others.
We will celebrate not only the lives that have been touched through Heart of Mary House, but also the man whose trust, hospitality, and unwavering belief in our mission helped make it all possible.
